The redesigned CR-V will have a 4×4, and be powered by a more powerful 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine from Honda’s Earth Dreams series. Something more powerful engine will be made by the stunning performance, and low CO2 emissions, and will aggregate the best balance of power and efficiency in the market. The new 1.6 i-DTEC in CR-V model will replace the current 2.2 diesel engine.
Paired with a six-speed manual transmission, the new, more powerful diesel engine producing 160 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, while emissions amount to only 130 g/km by which the redesigned CR-V to be the best in its class. Buyers will also be available a brand new nine stage automatic transmission, with which the emissions reach 135 g/km, which is as much as 20% improvement over its predecessor.
CR-V with front-wheel drive will still be available with a manual transmission and the 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine of 120 horsepower, but with reduced CO2 emissions to just 117 g/km.
