Honda CR-V Diesel

Honda announced engine specifications that will drive new HR-V when this car arrives in European showrooms during summer. These japanese crossover will be available to European customers with a 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine and 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel engine. The two drive units are the product of Honda’s advanced Earth Dreams Technology.

Petrol engine develops 130hp and the manufacturer claims that the HR-V is equipped with this engine and the optional CVT transmission, has average consumation of 5.2 liters of fuel per 100 km, emitting into the atmosphere 120 g CO2 / km. When the engine is paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission, the average consumption rises to 5.6 l / 100 km and CO2 emissions of 130 g / km.

Gas version of the Honda HR-V reaches from 0 to 100 km / h in 10.3 with a manual, or 10.9 using power transmission CVT transmission.Honda is especially proud of the 1.6-liter diesel engine with 120 hp, they say it is one of the most economical in its class. This assertion is supported by the fact that HR-V diesel engine combined with a six-speed manual transmission consumes an average 4 l / 100 km and CO2 emissions are 104 g / km. The diesel version recaches 100 for 10.1 s.
