I love this! The way they present the information is awesome. It's great for most any type of learner. Some people are visual, etc... So it's got multiple ways to see the words, also seeing it spelled Phonetically and in the native script! It's a great app! I've been using it for a week now and I can hold a brief conversation already!

I love it. Allows a lot of repetitions, and feeds you slowly and consistently.

It allows you to switch between pinyin and simplified Chinese but there is no option for traditional Chinese. I think this would be an incredibly easy thing to add support for as there are a large number of apps that already provide this option--most notably Pleco Chinese dictionary. Please add support for this and I think it will help increase the number of people that can benefit from your app and likewise increase your market.

Thank you for sharing this enjoyable app. I have participated regularly & enjoy Duolingo. Your lessons are far more engaging & expanding. I do wish, though, that there was more conversational exercises. Keep it coming Thanx, Darryl Cuda
  • Free?! No

They start off by telling you it's free, but later inform you that you need a subscription ($9.99/month). This is classic bait and switch. Whether the app is worth it or not, this is dishonest and I don't trust them.
  • Still right-to-left script issues

Haven't tinkered with the Sept. 2017 update much, but there's still problems with Farsi sentences showing up properly. For example, a sentence will begin, ".اين مادر من است" - the period stuck before the first letter of the first word, instead of at the end where it should be.
