  • Problems after updating to iOS 12

I seemingly ran into a compatibility issue with Hiya and iOS 12 where it was blocking ALL my contacts that weren’t on my favorites list. Spent a frustrating afternoon trying everything short of restoring my iPhone until I reached my last straw and deleted Hiya. Then I was getting calls again instead of sending them directly to voicemail. I noticed the last update was last week so maybe Hiya will get updated to work with iOS 12. I liked the app before this issue and will keep tabs on it to see if it gets an update and, if so, I’ll download the app again and provide an updated rating.

All numbers came right to my phone
  • Used to be great, but now no longer blocks spam.

Per the title, flawlessly identifies the spam calls.... after it lets them ring through, but that’s pointless.
  • It’s all about the upgrade

Rarely do you put a number in where the ID is given. Note I did not say never, I aid rarely. The results may show land line or mobile number and they may show the caller is unknown but the majority or the time the caller is known & if you upgrade you can find out who is calling. Sigh......
  • Not as good as I expected

The app allows multiple daily spam calls and dose not appear to block the majority of junk calls. It has been set up properly and occasionally blocks a call
  • Had really helped!!!

I installed this app last night because I heard it would stop most of my soliciting calls and I am getting the same area code calling that has been calling me for weeks. In addition, I have soliciting calls that are the first six numbers as my number and those are still coming as well. Just what does this stop? That was the reasoning for installing this on my phone. Not happy at all.
  • It was good

In my opinion it was really good, now it doesn’t bloch Spam or telemarketers. Mostly it shows that it knows the number and you can see it if you get the paid version.
  • Too money hungry

This is a great app when I first got it ...will tell you who called.... gave your results etc. ...now to get anything you got a buy the app ....apparently money became more important.... all about making a profit ...to bad to see an app go down that road.
  • Not sure what it’s good for

I have an iPhone 8 Plus and I started using this app about a week ago only thing it has done was pop up if a number showed in spam. When I blocked a call through the app a couple hours later I still received another call from that number. Haven’t had that issue with just using iPhone block call. The calls are blocked immediately. I can search a number in the app to see if it pops up with who it belongs to but most that are auto dialers weren’t in its system and I have received more spam calls since downloading this app on my phone
