The Washington Post is a phenomenal newspaper. I enjoy reading it daily.

I read it on the train, and I’d like to be able to go theough a tunnel and still read the news. My ideal version of the app would have a “download today’s paper” option that toggles on/off and doesn’t require a constant internet connection to work.

The Post excels in content. The app though is frequently frozen.

  • Great Newspaper, Inferior App

I love the Post’s coverage—but I hate the app. It takes a social media feel, with pictures overlaid with headline and a teaser text. These are expressed in the app as tiles that the user swipes through. The overall experience feels like a social media app, not a news app, which ends up feeling slightly tabloid-ish.

I love the Washington post articles; however, the app is really lame. Difficult to use over multiple devices. Makes you wanna go to all the news that is free and easy.
