Pacifica gives you psychologist-designed tools to address them based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness meditation, relaxation, and mood/health tracking. Stress, anxiety, and depression are caused by an ongoing cycle of negative thoughts. Thoughts cause physical feelings and emotions which cause actions. Pacifica helps break this cycle using tools that target each of its components. Day-by-day, you'll learn to manage stress, anxiety and depression at your own pace. We’re not about quick-fixes or false promises. We are about real progress, a day at a time. #1 - BuzzFeed's Amazing Apps For Anyone Living With Anxiety #1 - Forbes' 4 Technologies Innovating in Mental Health TESTIMONIALS "This app is not only beautiful and easy to use, it's also an incredibly useful tool that has genuinely changed my way of thinking when it comes to anxiety." “Thank you so much for improving my quality of life. I’ve hardly had this app a month and I am I love with the connection to myself and other like myself. Pacifica has already changed my life and giving me steps to work with my mental health issues I’m struggling with!
  • Useful, a few bugs

The app isn't just for meditation but also offers mood-tracking and journaling. Overall is more useful than many other meditation apps. A few bugs and complaints: Upon completion of a meditation, the app doesn't always end the session and return to the selection screen, even when the option is selected to do so. Therefore you have to quit the session and then it doesn't count towards sessions you've completed. The feedback button doesn't work either. And the link to rate the app says "Rate Pacifica 5 Stara," which is intentionally misleading and lousy.

I recently started using this app because I have major anxiety and stress that can make my day go from okay to absolutely horrible in a second so I thought I’d try it out. I saw it advertised on the App Store and on websites I visited so I finally decided to give it a go and I have to say, I won’t stray from it any time soon. It asks you how you’re feeling and what specific things you feel and based on what you put, it recommends multiple activities you can do on the app to help calm down as well as the ability to make goals for yourself that day. I absolutely love it and I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great app to help combat anxiety and stress
  • My first week free trial

I really like this app and I want to continue and share with my therapist, but I wasn’t able to add my feelings for the past days I didn’t fill in when I wasn’t able or forgot. :( I was afraid to purchase the app because I was unsure if this would be a continuous problem. I wasn’t able to view final results or figure out everything this great app had to offer due to a busy schedule not enough time to convert my habitual actions of writing down my feelings to switch over possibly using this app instead. I just wanted to add in what I had wrote down to get to see the final results and share. I assume since I was on the free trial it actually ended my week without entries on each day. If I could have done this along with a few other things. I would have possibly purchased this app I was excited about.
  • It helps.

This app allows you to set a check in at a specific time everyday. It helps you organize your thoughts, feelings and energy (or lack thereof 💙). It really does help. It’s ok to not be ok. But help is out there.
  • Just what I needed

I am battling severe depression and anxiety. Doctors and therapists provide a lot of help, but I felt I needed something else; something that was there when and where I needed it. Pacifica fills that gap completely for me. More than just meditations and stress reduction, it offers guidance, communities, podcasts, and more. It is more than a daily go-to, it is a constant companion. I have shown this to doctors and therapists and they believe it offers significant help. I am very thankful to the developers. My only wish for this app is that a landscape mode be added for my iPad and keyboard interaction.

It’s my favorite self help app on my phone. I’ve noticed a significant difference in my mood since using Pacifica. The mind maps have helped me diffuse stressful situations and I love how I can see stats on my mood, self care, etc, Pacifica also has some useful meditation techniques I would recommend. Thanks!
  • I wanted to like it.

Let me start with, disjointed as hell! Hard to make sense of any of it. Keeps changing or losing health settings. Cannot set self made goals. I create them, I see them, but cannot set them as daily and cannot even add to the goal’s count. You don’t need apps to breath, our bodies do that naturally. Meditation is a discipline that can be achieved by the self. No app or any amount of money can make you seek calm and quiet reflection. If you think it can then why is the best meditation and breathing app free? It’s named after a tree... Awful pricey for a forum, guided journals, and some new age guru crap. I feel stupid for signing up, but I like to give things a chance.

I’m still working my way around the app and I’m very impressed. I would have given it five stars if it opened into the program when I wanted it too. I do the daily things and check them off. When I want to meditate or journal later on in the day. The program simply wont open. It just sits on the green screen. I don’t know if this is a bug or the way it was designed.

When I tried to join community discussion I wasn’t able to because my nickname was not unique. Too much work. I just don't have the energy. Oh yeah, why don’t you wait to start your push to upgrade until you’ve actually done something to make me feel better. Even trying to add this review is a headache because of the nickname uniqueness challenge. They got the one they deserve.
