Natural Cycles helps you keep track of your ovulation, period and fertility. The app will show you when to use protection to effectively prevent a pregnancy. It is clinically tested to be 99.5% effective*. *Natural Cycles has a method failure Pearl Index of 0.5, which means that 5 women out of 1000 get pregnant during one year due to a falsely attributed green day. Natural Cycles has a typical-use Pearl Index of 7.0, which means that in total 7 women out of 100 get pregnant during one year due to all possible reasons (e.g. having unprotected sex on red days, failure of the contraceptive method used on red days). Natural Cycles analyses your temperature, period and ovulation to calculate when you are fertile and should use birth control (e.g. condoms). Our algorithm is the brains behind the app. It takes care of all the complex calculations and tells you everything you need to know about your cycle. How it works: Measure your temperature first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. You will need a two decimal basal thermometer to do so. Enter your measurement and other data such as period, sex and LH test results into the app. A green day means you are not fertile. A red day means that you are likely to be fertile and you should use protection. Make sure to read the instructions of use before you get started. For the app to effectively work as a birth control, you should be comfortable with using protection such as condoms on red days. In the beginning, the app will be getting to know your unique cycle, so you will have more red days - this is to ensure effectiveness. Once you’ve measured for a while you can get as little as 8 red days in one cycle. Natural Cycles does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Planning a pregnancy: Natural Cycles goes beyond birth control. Our ‘Plan a pregnancy’ mode lets you know when you are most fertile and time your sex to increase your chances of conceiving. The app will let you know when it’s best to take a pregnancy test. Once a positive test is entered into the app, it switches colours and your features change. You will now be able to track the development of your pregnancy. You can easily switch back to "Prevent". • 1 month really?

Trying to have another baby or prevent one on this site/program says it's the best? Yes if you pay 80.00 for a year. How can you pay that with 1 month free subscription and not 3 free? Not happy with 1 month will not pay 80 dollars or pass go. No matter how much We like it we need more time. Seems to me they are money hungry?! Ugh I like fertility friend better I can keep it for years and it still works.
  • The only option in my mind

Loving this. Came offf BC wanting to get my body on a natural rhythm before TCC. Won't go back on birth control now. Loving knowing what my body is doing and being aware much more than before.
  • Answer to my prayers!

Okay that may be a bit dramatic...but seriously it is how I feel about this app. I've only recently become sexually active and my friends were like you better go on the pill. And I've honestly always been pressure and questioned for not going on the pill. Yes my period is not my favorite thing but I feel like it's my body doing it's thing. And I really only have one maybe two days of discomfort so messing with my body natural chemicals just weirded me out. Not knocking anyone who uses birth control the female body has such a variety that I think it's important to do what's best for you. And there is an option if you are on birth control for this app. It really is for any woman! So I love this app. The notifications are so helpful and after my free month trial I will be signing up for the year. I like that I will be able to track and get to know my body even more because the bleeding part of our period is only the beginning of our cycle and there is so much more to learn and discover from our bodies. Keep up the good work Natural Cycle!
  • So far so good!

After a few pregnancy scares, blood clots and even fainting I had to go off the pill (tried 2 different kinds). I was nervous about trying this but I figured what did I have to lose? I've been using this app for 4/5 months now and I love it. It accurately predicts my period/ovulation in advance and only off by about one day sometimes. The best part is how I'm getting to know my body, something that has always been difficult. I can now feel for myself when I'm ovulating for example, but the app confirms it for me. Truthfully it is really annoying having to use condoms for over a week a month... but when I think about the symptoms I had before on birth control? Yeahhhh I'll deal with it.
  • So Easy and Accurate!

When I first got the app, I wasn't sure how I would like it or if it would be that accurate. Since using it for about a month, I love it! It easily tracks everything from ovulation to luteal phases, and it's all done with a simple temperature reading each morning. I love the reminders it gives to keep up with measuring and tracks progress! Really love the idea of controlling my own body naturally, and Natural Cycles has made that super easy for me to do!
  • Life Changer.

This app has literally changed my life. I've been on everything from the patch (I gained weight), to every pill they make (they ALL made me suicidal and crazy), to the shot (worked for a while, but last time gave me a LOT of trouble with hormones, vaginal dryness and pain, low libido, etc. and took nearly two years to recover from its effects.) and everything else I do in life is as natural as possible anyway so this is perfect for me. So far, it's been so nice to know exactly where I'm at in my cycle, to analyze my natural hormones, and have the freedom of not using contraception when it isn't necessary. I don't know why anyone would want to take any type of birth control when this is a no-brainer.
