  • Awesome app...

I'd give this 5 stars if there was a way to see a small preview of what a certain reminder is on the lockscreen instead of just seeing the "Event" indicator. Maybe there is a way and I just haven't found it but I've looked. Otherwise it's awesome and has many user friendly options to cover everyone's needs. I've used it for many years **Edit....based on the developer's comment I have found this option....changed to 5 starts and this app just got THAT much better! Hope you guys keep up with this app as far as updates....thank you!

I love this app!! I just have one possible way to improve it. How about adding a “Day View” on the iPhone and iPad apps?
  • Why haven't you added a day view.?

Honestly, I'm not sure I get it. It is clear that the calendar app is made well, however I have quite an addiction to calendar apps, and this doesn't hold up on the iPhone. I love that each company does something differently, and believe it or not, I use several calendar apps for several things, on my iPhone. On my iPad and computer Fantastical is the only app I use. So why don't I use it on my phone?! 'Cause it's bad. The list/agenda view that is available when you open the app is extremely hard to decipher, and when I want to see what is happening I have to flip my phone, plus it's only a couples hours which isn't helpful. That is ridiculously! I think if there was an option to see blockings of my schedule as a day view and a week view when the iPhone is vertical I would use this app, and only this app. It's makes it doubly frustrating that I cannot change the colors of events. This is not something that other calendar apps do well, and the devopers have the opportunity to take the market on this. Finally, it's dots for everything. I get it. There are dots on the calendar to indicate there are events/reminders. However, you can't tell the difference. They [calendar events/ reminders], are exactly the same. Maybe make one a different shape? I don't know, but there has to be a better way. I am not one for agendas, and that's not what I purchased, I purchased a calendar app, but all I see is an agenda without the ability to change it. PLEASE FIX!!!!

I have been using this for several years now. Like other reviewers have said, by far the best calendar/reminder app. Update, can’t believe that I forgot that I could also add reminders and tasks using this app. Now I’m really getting the most out of this app.

Fantastical has made my appointment scheduling so much easier! I began with Apple calendar and after multiple frustrations of missed appointments due to the stupid spinning time scheduler I just gave up. Fantastical was recommended and now I recommend it to patients and colleagues since it is easy to use, interfaces beautifully with my multiple Google calendars and even with Nozbe my to do app. I would give it 4.5 stars only because sometimes it gets stuck in landscape mode. Overall, If you do a lot of scheduling I highly recommend this app. Or if you just want to make your life easier!
  • My most used app..but please add one feature

I love Fantastical and use it on iPhone, iPad and Desktop. Well worth the money. Why not five stars? Because iOS lacks the “Display declined events” toggle that desktop has. Why do I have to see events I said no to muddying my calendar? This drives me crazy. Devs, add this switch so I can turn those off. Anyway, best calendar app hands down.
  • PLEASE add “time to leave” alerts

I’ve heard SO much positive about this app. I bought it, and began to set it up to use. But I realized that it does not have “time to leave” alerts. And without those, my life would just not work. So... fantastical2... am I missing this feature? Is it hidden in there? Everything else in the app is perfect, except this. It’s the ONLY thing stopping me from using it daily.
