I think forge of empires is a great spin on games like coc. I give it four stars not five for the wait times and trading rip-offs. The wait times are a bit long I see it as a play once a day type of game I have not progressed much but I see to unlock later thinks you would need to spend days gathering forge points. I would also like a better use for materials than progression and negotiation. There are also a lot of ripoffs on the in game market. I produce wood and I need wine at the common rate of 1 wine for 10 wood I have to create 100 wood to advance when creating wood is just as difficult as creating wine. Besides that this is a great game.

Another poor update of this game. The game runs slow freezes and shuts itself down telling me to check my internet connection when I have 3 bars on wi-fi. Why can't they fix this? I'm tired of having to log in all the time. Furthermore changing the great buildings home screen was a mistake.

It took awhile to try this game, but I'm glad I did. It's probably one of the best games that can easily be played on the ipad. It has a bit of every kind of type of game; strategy, PvP, auctions, etc. You can play at your own rate, and don't have to use in game purchases to play. It's fun with plenty of variety to keep me interested in playing.

I've been playing for a couple months now and I have really enjoyed the game and it's become pretty addicting! Only problem is to really advance you need diamonds and to get diamonds it mainly requires real money. You can spend diamonds on almost anything and they try to encourage it in every way possible, the diamonds don't go far either. I like that the game has social groups that you can join to do trades and get help from other players. I've played other city building games but Inno keeps it more interesting than typical games with guild expeditions, "great buildings", armies, special events for seasons, etc. Overall I'd recommend it but just keep in mind you'll probably be forced to spend money unless you're extremely patient or don't care to advance quickly.
