  • Where is the coach support?

No support from the coach. Very slow in relying to requests of information and clarifications. Tried to do for 3 weeks but it ended up being onlyme logging in weight and meals with no interaction with the coach (which should be the feature of the program). After a few messages with no reply, I sent a last one saying that I was not getting any reply and that it was frustrating and if nobody would get back to me I had to cancel: next thing I receive an email saying that my account was cancelled....though I had not asked for a cancellation. Following exchange of emails very frustrating. It takes them 2 to 3 days to reply. The coach in the app does not answer..

I love the a accountability, motivation and ease of tracking calories. Also how you can add activities if you have a condition that stops you from walking a lot!

Don’t use this app. They are very deceitful about how the subscription works and the charges. They do not send you any sort of email reminding you that you will be charged. And then they don’t even bother to ask you what kind of subscription you want just automatically sign you up for the one that will make them the most money.

  • Good stuff but WAY TOO MUCH READING

I like the huge food database that makes it really easy to track your calorie intake and that you can control the size of the portion. I also like how it connects with Apple HealthKit to track steps and that you can add from a long list of additional activities. However, the volume of reading is ridiculous. WAY too much reading every single day! Would also be nice to have a line graph for steps and calories with a goal line as well. Would be easier to spot trends with a line graph. Great way to help a person track what they eat which we all know is a huge part of losing weight. I’m down over 10lbs since I started using it.

Sorry. I’ve had it two days and I’m over it. Thank god I had a free trial! I am unable to add any new foods at all, the barcode database must be for like 2 foods because nothing I have scanned can be found and my coach has failed to respond to any question I have asked so I’m done. To answer your ad question, people use weight watchers because it works, their app is reliable and the database actually has info in it!

I’m super happy with my results so far and I would definitely recommend this program to others. It’s clear and easy to follow, and the readings are blended with humor, which helps lighten things up. I’m getting help while learning a lot...so far so good!

I’ve been on the app for two months, and so far Noom is really disappointing. My ultimate #1 gripe is NO WEB CAPABILITY. I’m not asking for a new social media platform, I just want to be able to search foods and create dishes without typing on my phone. I’m definitely going back to MFP, but sadly I paid for several months of Noom which I feel like I have to use now... My group has never had a post, so I’m not sure what the point of it is. My coach sends the same three statements - “Hows it going?” “Is that something you’d like to work on this week?” “How confident are you in this?” - literally every single time. I could probably tell her I was going to go rob a bank and she’d ask me how confident I am in that. The interface is generally slick looking but has some really strange quirks that are, in my opinion, unacceptable for a paid app. I also sometimes find myself on screens where there is no “back” button and I have to force quit the app to get back to the home page. Insane. And as others have pointed out, the quality of content takes a nose dive after a few months. I just scrolled back a month and a half to be sure I hadn’t imagined it. They start using stock photos and bland paragraphs, sometimes with a reference to a study thrown in. Honestly it’s altogether a poorly written app and a subpar experience. I really wish I could get a refund. Kudos to the marketing team who have managed to sell this to so many people...

I would like it if Noom synced with my FitBit. I wear one to track my steps. It’s hard to keep a phone on me at all times.
