    After a week, I actually gained a pound instead of losing. If you've dieted before or done any research before, then this app probably doesn't have much to offer. I had hoped the coaching aspect would help overcome hurdles, but the information given is very generic. The calorie counting feature was off a number of times or didn't have the food listed at all. My friend's weight watchers app was much better at meal logging. Very little emphasis on exercise and emphasized foods that I find problematic to weight loss, Iike bread.

    This app has really helped me to lose weight and change my behavior. My one complaint is that it starts off being really engaging and fun, then about week 4 it feels like they stopped developing it all the way and only give you “flat” articles to read.

    They may call it the diet for the millennials, but I’m over 60 and loving it. The accountability and support are second to none. I highly recommend trying this.

    I’ve been using Noom for about six months and I love it. I’ve lost 20lbs and am continuing to use it. My husband and mom have also joined up and are having great success! The app makes great use of visual cues to really help you track and learn about healthy eating. The interface is largely intuitive and easy to use. They have great content and the coaches are wonderful. The app is occasionally wonky, but not enough so to be bothersome and all in ways that just require minor bug fixes. The program works great and I would highly recommend this to anyone who has struggled with weight loss and building healthy habits in the past.

    I’m great at short term weight loss, but making it a lifestyle is hard without accountability. Great monthly price for all the features and support you get with this app! I was just checking out the trial period, but after a week, I’m sold!
  • I’m stuck in the meal reminder settings

    I literally am stuck in the meal reminder setting page. I can’t back up or X out or swipe or anything. I downloaded the app about 2 hours ago. Related: I clicked on the add in Instagram, which is how I got started on this, and now I can’t X out of that either.
  • Noom is changing my relationship with food

    I tried out the app because of its 14-day trial and ended up enjoying it for its ease of use, quizzes, group coach, and personal coach. I am learning a lot about my relationship with food, triggers, and more, ultimately teaching me to be more mindful. Highly recommend.

    Do NOT start free trial unless you are POSITIVE to end it the DAY BEFORE the last day. I tried to cancel on the last day of my free trial and they are still trying to take over $120 out of my bank account. I didn’t really like the app or use it and the amount of notifications are very annoying. It’s one thing to input your info, but they have like 10 group chats going on at once! And during work hours, too. So your phone is consistently blowing up that I started to ignore regular notifications to put my meal information in. Don’t recommend.

    This app is easy to use and fun. I have found a lot of success using it. I find having a group to share with keeps me motivated and holds me accountable.
