    Very difficult to cancel, I tried was unable to find an unsubscribe link. After I was auto subscribed for 6 more months I finally learned how to cancel. Also after months of following the program religiously, I was not impressed with my weight loss.

    Written by psychology experts this is the best weight loss experience I’ve done. Meant to make long term changes, the progress is slow but steady and I believe will be sustainable. It anticipates when you will have hiccups, which keeps you going. I’m so glad I signed up for the trial and kept going! On my way to losing the (2nd) baby weight.
  • Works For Me

    Noom isn’t a ‘diet’, it’s a weight, exercise and calorie tracker (for which there’s any number of other apps), combined with daily advice and challenge articles, and access to an online group of peers and coaches. The key for me is the articles which have given me a lot of good advice ranging from psychology, physiology, through the pros and cons of different diets, to advice on exercise and meal planning. All of this you could get yourself through research on the web, but having it presented daily in easy 20 minute articles works for me. Bottom line, 9 weeks in, I’ve dropped 25 pounds and - probably more importantly - made important changes to my lifestyle that can be sustained. YMMV, but it certainly works for some people. If you decide to do the trial, just be sure to read and understand how to cancel it if that’s what you decide. Most of the negative reviews seem to be from folks who got charged at the end of the trial unexpectedly.
  • The help I needed!

    I have been trying for 2 years to lose 15 pounds I gained after moving across the country and starting a new job. I was logging on My Fitness Pal, tried shake diets, low carb diets, but just wasn’t losing any weight. One of patients told me about Noom and how she had lost 22 pounds on it so far. I thought I would give it a try. Why not? I had tried everything else. Noom has changed everything for me! After 5 weeks, I am down 7.5 pounds! Their logging system is as easy as MyFitness Pal, but their color coding system has helped me really clean up diet and stop my addiction to processed food! Having a coach to keep me accountable is another bonus and the extra motivation I needed. All of the course work has also drastically changed my relationship with food psychologically! I can’t say enough amazing things about how grateful I am to Noom!
  • Beware! Cannot cancel!

    I was lured in by the fancy adds that claimed Noom was the young fresh approach to weight loss. I was excited since I have tried a myriad of weight loss plans and apps. When I put in my credit card number for my free trial, I felt uneasy. I was reminded of another free trial, with reoccurring payments after a month I had mistakenly signed up for in the past. But, for this innovative plan to weight loss I took a chance. As soon as I was in, I decided that Noom was not for me. It seemed to be another fitness/ calorie tracker- and not even as good as the one I have and love: myfitnesspal. I decided to cancel right away- that next day- and that is why I am here. Maybe I didnt give the app alot of chance to rock my world, but it still should be my choice to cancel. Noom has terrible customer service. I have emailed every email support customer address I can find. I was never assigned a coach and their special number did not work. All I want to do is cancel. I received a few replies stating that: “This is to confirm that we've received your message. Please don't reply back to your original message before we get a chance to respond, as this further delays processing. “ So, I have posted my review here in hopes that someone will reach out to me. I feel like I have been scammed and Noom will only reach out after the trial is up so they can charge my card. Beware!
  • Love the Noom program but the App is the worst!

    I’ve been doing the Noom program for 3 weeks and it’s unlike any other weight loss program I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t just teach you how to make healthy food choices, it helps you understand why you have the habits you have and how to realistically manage and change them over time. It’s based in psychology and it works! The app on the other hand is the worst I’ve ever used. Really awkward to navigate - not at all user friendly. Their food database is pretty sparse and I’ve come across more than one entry that was just flat wrong. Their recipes are just sad and uninspired. This is all pretty surprising when you look at all of the great food logging apps out there. MyFitnessPal is the gold standard for me and they’ve already figured out the hard part - an easy to navigate, user friendly design - it’s baffling why the folks at Noom don’t take a few clues from this!

  • Total waste of money

    The concept is good, the execution is awful. The app doesn’t have enough food items in the tracker and offer very wrong calorie counts for many items that are there. The coaches are not knowledgeable... it’s like they are reading from a script. They cannot offer any advice on the exercise portion and poorly execute the food part. Don’t waste your money!
  • Not what I expected

    Save your money and just hire a personal trainer. There are a lot of nutritional videos to watch, which mostly just reiterated information i already knew. The personal coach basically just messages you if you don't log in and checks in with you periodically. They offer absolutely no advice to help you lose. You might as well be talking to a chat bot...I'm pretty sure the answers they send come from a script. They are basically there to try and motivate you. The group they put you in is a bunch of other people who are basically in the same boat as you. If you have trouble dropping pounds, even with diet and exercise, and need some direction this app isn't for you. This app is for people who can't motivate themselves. You are basically paying for a support group who doesn't know any more about how you should lose weight than you do.
