The stuff is so expensive you have to wait a day to see your results
  • Improved Diversity!

    By 🍩🍞🍕🍟🍋🍦🍰✌🏽😂
Thank you for finally making a step towards racial diversity in the game! I earlier sent a complaint about your game lacking such racial and body type diversity, but this is a step in the right direction! This was evident in your recent fall challenge, where the model MUST be african-American. I also see some themes based on Chinese and Japanese cultures, which is pretty nice. Thank you for the recent inclusiveness, but there’s still more to be done! Body diversity is still a huge problem in the modeling industry and I think Covet should be demonstrating a solution by letting players choose to have a plus size model if they want. I know it may be hard to accomplish, you guys are doing great so far!
  • Not for the poor

This is by far the best fashion game I’ve played......but you HAVE to spend REAL money to get anywhere in the game. The diamonds are not hard to come by but the cash is. The clothes that bring you the best rating are priced way to high, then on top of that, after you purchase the clothes and wear them they are deemed worn and you have to pay more money for an item you’ve already bought to deem it “unworn” for bonus to your style score!!!!! When shopping for items you can only try on one item at a time so you can’t put together a look and purchase all items at the same time. I have bought pieces that I can’t find anything to match. This game has SO much going for it, but the developers are way too greedy to allow poor people, or young kids, to play. So if you can’t afford to spend REAL money on this game don’t waste your time downloading it, you’ll end up heartbroken like me!!!!!
  • Covet Fashion Cons

First of all, the players that are on lower levels have a lower probability of getting a high score because you have to have a higher closet value and be on a higher level in order to have good hair and makeup styles. The hair and makeup styles dramatically effect the scores that you have because they make the outfit look better. For example, you can have the same exact look as someone else but the one with the best hair, hair accessories, and/or makeup will have a higher score. The players that have way higher closet values and that are on a higher levels are guaranteed a five star score because they have more money and more hair and makeup choices. In order for everyone to have an equal chance at getting high scores on these challenges, you need to either give players on lower levels more hair and makeup choices for each level or you need to let everyone have the same makeup and hair styles. This way, we all have an equal probability of getting a high score.
  • VERY pay-to-play and sometimes pretty backwards

It’s a cute game, I guess, but don’t expect to score well early on (or later, honestly) unless you’re willing to pay actual money for digital clothes and accessories. Again, not an awful game, just extremely difficult without paying and if you don’t want to lay down real money continuously, you just have to wait and make sure you log in daily to get the daily diamonds they give you or sign up for all kinds of spammy things hoping to get some diamonds. Some of the challenges are questionable. For example, a recent challenge had you creating a futuristic look for the first woman POTUS—reducing something so important and historic to be about what the woman would wear while also implying it won’t happen until we’re all dressing like the Jetsons. (And naturally, the most revealing outfits will rank highest even in this challenge.) Other challenges require items that are examples of blatant cultural appropriation. And no matter what culture it rips off, you’ll probably only win the challenge if you put the item on a white woman wearing red lipstick with long, lighter hair. But that’s not necessarily Covet’s fault—though they could be preventing it. For example, they just locked a challenge meant to honor Aretha Franklin so that the person had to have dark skin. They could be doing that for other challenges as well. (No, an ancient Egyptian queen would not be pale white. Sorry girls.) Also, the players can be catty to newer players and those who won’t shell out money, kicking them out of houses when they’re doing their best... but that’s not Covet’s fault and wasn’t factored in to this review... just a warning to new players.
  • Unfair

Overall, Covet Fashion is a fun and addicting game. As a person that loves fashion, I have to say it is a very enjoyable game, and I love dressing up the models. The only issue I have is how unfair the voting system is. There was this one time in voting where someone had the exact same outfit, except skin color and hair color. When I voted I saw that they had 5 stars, and immediately was expecting somewhere close to their score, since it looked very similar. But to my surprise I got a 4 star instead of 5, just because of the blond hair and white skin. Plus all the top looks look the same, same clothes and usually the same long wavy or curly hair. Again overall a fun game but, I had an unfair experience in voting.
  • Love the concept .. maybe I need to ...

Access info on the subtleties of optimizing How you move ahead in accessing more diamonds and when prizes become eligible. I hope there is some way that I am missing that allows me to leave All piece of clothing on a model that you have picked BEFORE you have to buy any one of them. I have not figured out if it is possible to understand how you stand in multiple geographic territories and if you are in any category how you establish the number of designers in that particular group you have been ranked in.
  • Rate game

I love the game. Is really fun to put together looks. In new version I love the extra things you can add like wings and balloons. The only thing I wish you could do is have a price option. So you can say from $100-150 for an item.
  • Prop shop

    By Treavenus
I love the game, but it keeps telling me I can’t access the prop shop until I get to level 6. The crazy thing is I’m on level 20.
