I have hypertension. I get anxiety when taking my blood pressure readings. Meditating with calm helps get a more accurate read and slows my heart rate down! I love it! After some iOS issues I’m using it again. — the free version.

Great job to the team at Calm. This is a wonderful tool for executives, healers, gurus, and people of all type. The sessions are designed for the unique needs of anyone seeking rejuvenation, healing, peace, mindfulness and connectivity. I really appreciate the ability to do guided meditation, self meditation, or visual meditation. The categories are well designed too. And I’m enjoying the workshops from guest speakers — the new feature of the app. Very helpful to get direct access to ever changing content.

First, thanks to the creators. This app is good for beginners as well as experienced meditators. The sessions allow some tailoring depending on need and interest. One caveat, the app could use a few more sessions that are more direct. The primary voice feels a bit too gentle at times though certainly I am learning to self regulate and comfort.

Was stressed that’s why I wanted to meditate. But the app crashed and more stress ensued. I got a response from support and they verified deleting app and restarting would help. Thank you Calm app!
  • This app accessed my Facebook account over a week after it was uninstalled.

This has never happened before with any other application I have attempted to use. I immediately changed my password. I don’t need any assistance from the developer since they can no longer attempt to log in to facebook account. I would be wary of giving this app your Facebook credentials.

I cancelled my subscription the day the free trial was ending and still was charged $60! I’ve been trying to reach customer service for over a week and no response. Don’t waste your time or money!!

  • People creepily whispering for sleep??!

I don’t get it. You can hear the person’s saliva slosh around their mouth more than the actual words. I have absolutely no idea how this could be considered comforting - it’s actually really irritating and creepy and causes you to build up anxiety as opposed to reducing stress. No thanks. Also the pricing is ridiculous for what you’re getting. Basically a bunch of what would be free content from other sources.
