  • Value not there for me

I am not interested in a subscription model this service. If I was, it would be max $3/month. I would prefer an option to buy and own the meditations that I like. Until that option is offered I am using other apps mostly: pulse, pause and some great offerings Take a Break and Rest & Relax that allow me to purchase the meditation one time. I would even be open to paying for each use of a meditation but my practice habit can not justify the current pricing model.

    1. I’ve had the app for over 4 months The “Mindfulness Reminder” keeps repeating 2. The money. It’s great but why 60 why should you pay to be happy

Thank you for supporting my desire to practice meditation.
  • I’m a fan but the app could use an alarm

I downloaded the app a week ago to use for insomnia it is fantastic. I have never slept better in by life. Well worth the money. However I could only give it 4 stars because my alarm app has not gone off. Not sure if it is because the Calm app to go open all night and is overriding the alarm app? My suggestion is to add and alarm to the app. Otherwise great app.

I struggled with horrible PTSD symptoms for years now. It was difficult to apply mindfulness to my everyday routine until I found this app. It has greatly reduced my physical and mental symptoms by allowing me to become aware, ride the waves and let go of emotion. I’m not going to say it’s a cure because there is no such thing. I view it as a tool to maintain your mental fitness like a treadmill and exercise helps maintain your physical fitness. Gradually over time your mind becomes stronger and more capable but mindfulness like physical exercise should become part of your routine so you can keep optimum mental fitness. Also, I was on medication and no longer require it yet it doesn’t mean anyone should stop taking their medication. I suggest to start doing mindfulness and as you progress there may be a reduction to your prescription and eventually you may be able to come off of them. Hope this is helpful! God bless!

with filthy aubscriptions that must be reported to FTC to get the shady dev fined basically in this app you get zero to nothing content coming with an app searched for an app with binaural beats and sleep sounds ... it was in an ad finally only a stephen fry unpleasant voice and stupid story with woman voice for kids are free most of paid things are just useless no binaural beats, no real sleep sounds

With Calm my life has been more calm. I love 💕the reminders so chill and on point. The changes of background are so wonderful.. I woke up one morning thinking we had a pleasant rain storm...no..but a great beginning of the day. When I feel stressed a can take a breather with the breathing section and I am able to tackle the world 🌎 it’s like a refreshing power nap 💤. I recommend it to my friends all the time...who doesn’t need a little Calm in their life. 🧘‍♂️
  • Truly disappointed

This app use to be my favorite, and I purchased a years subscription back then. But after the subscription ended and I dwindled from using it, all these updates occurred and I can’t even truly test a series (I was only able to do day 1 of a few different meditation packages). I can’t test a 12 minute session and automatically know that I want to spend $60 on an app. I agree with another reviewer, the option to purchase individual sessions or packages would be much more enticing. The price of this app is definitely not reasonable for the audience who could really benefit from a free or cheaper product.

I canceled the day before my subscription was supposed to charge me, conveniently it didn’t take my cancellation and now I have a year of some meditation app that I don’t want. Why charge people for a year reoccurring charge when it’s much easier to accidentally forgive a charge for a month. Example I wouldn’t be so mad if your company screwed me out of nine dollars, but you screwed me out of Close to $60! Maybe for Rich app designers that’s exactly what you do screw middle America out of their money that they work very hard for! I deleted your app because while I might have to pay for it, I would rather choke and die before I use it! You stole money from me is the way I see it, and Apple, and iTunes was your frontier your wild wild west, good for you... now excuse me while I have to go work another four hours to make up the money you took from me! dirt bag
