  • Can’t Login + No Support Response

When I try to open a magazine, I keep getting a message that I’m already subscribed, and then the app loops back to the previous screen and asks me to enter my password again. It’s obviously the correct password because then I’m logged into my account. However, when I try to actually read a magazine, I’m asked to log in again. Then I get the message that I’m already subscribed, again, but I still can’t actually open any magazines. The app had no problem charging me $9.99, but I can’t actually access any content, and no one from customer service responds to my emails. Can someone please respond to me and fix this? I’ve used Texture before and it’s a great app if you can actually read the content. Thank you in advance.

It’s not everything for everybody but it sure covers quite a bit of diverse publications. Thankful for the staff at Texture for making many desirable magazines available.

So I’ve been a loyal member of texture since 2012 when it was called “Next Issue”. The day Amazon made it available with the new name “Texture” and a better price, I jumped on it several years ago! They had some growing pains but I always stuck with them because digital magazines inside one app which can be downloaded, is better than killing our trees and planet. Reading them on the airplanes was great because you can download and read anything without internet. I love that I can save articles and recipes too and then just search for them...never could do that with paper copies...hmmm which magazine was that recipe in for dark chocolate ganache cake...never mind I can just search every magazine and find it instantly. I also liked that I could legally share my account with my family so just like a paper magazine, I could let my mom read them. Then one day I woke up, my money to texture was refunded and my subscription cancelled! No emails, no notice! I went to the texture website, logged in which I could do because in March they made us stop using our amazon login and create one there, and it was cancelled with no ability to renew or restart our subscription. I immediately sent an email to support because I didn’t want to lose all of my own library of saved articles and wanted to know what to do. They NEVER responded! It appears now the only way to have a subscription is to pay monthly at $9.99 which is much higher than I was paying. Because it is tied to a single iTunes account now and not your Texture account, it appears sharing is out too. So bottomline is the app good to above average, the subscription now is painful and not sure its worth it to have to pay ten dollars for every family member, but the biggest issue is their service is beyond poor! Who drops their customers without notice? The customers that started them and supported them from the beginning when they were nobody, we just become trash they discard! Support doesn’t respond to anyone any longer, I guess they just are too big and raking in the money to care about anyone or anything except themselves. I see others complaining and someone saying to email support, but what good is that when they don’t reply; it’s been two months and still nothing! Shame on you Texture!
  • Excellent piece of app with large collection of digital magazines

Easy to use and reading digitally. Would really hope Texture can expand its digital library for wider range of worldwide bestselling magazines that’s warrant 5 stars award. App can be optimised for more fluid browsing experience.

I’d love it if you had more diversity among your selections in magazines. Other than that I love the app.
