Meetup brings people together in thousands of cities to do more of what they want to do in life. It is organized around one simple idea: when we get together and do the things that matter to us, we’re at our best. And that’s what Meetup does. It brings people together to do, explore, teach and learn. For example, people run marathons, thanks to running Meetups. They write, thanks to writing Meetups. They change their careers, thanks to career Meetups. Because at Meetups, people welcome each other. They talk, help, mentor, and support each other – all in pursuit of achieving their life goals. Featured by Apple in “Best New Apps” and “Great Free Apps” Some popular Meetups include: Tech Meetup groups Moms Meetup groups Dads Meetup groups Fitness Meetup groups Hiking Meetup groups Career and Networking Meetup groups Support Meetup groups Book Club Meetup groups Photography Meetup groups New in Town Meetup groups Social Meetup groups Dog Meetup groups Language Meetup groups and 1,000s more Subscription plans: Want to start a new Meetup and become an organizer? Anyone who wishes to organize a Meetup may subscribe through the app. An organizer subscription entitles you to create up to three Meetups with an unlimited number of members and co-organizers. • Found my best friends

    By theleighhallway
I’m sitting here having beers with my Meetup group after having marched in the Women’s March together, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found these amazing strangers I now call friends. Thank you, Meetup. I couldn’t have found them (initially or during the March crowd today) without you!
  • Improved my routine

    By marcellen
I've had the app since it was released, and it's continues to improve. It's been a game-changer to get me off the couch and actually going to a dog park or volleyball court or new restaurant. Highly recommend for people looking to make a change in their routines.
  • Great app

    By Koobmonkey
I’ve been using this app to find different tech meetups near me and they’ve all been inspiring and educational. Very easy to browse and find events that were relevant to me in the app and to get in touch with organizers and other members afterwards.
  • If I could give zero stars I would

    By Daedene
I'm an experienced organizer who has led a very successful group for three years. The new Meetup site/app is about as bad as an interface gets. Functionality is limited, it's not easy to view event details, and customization is zero. Unfortunately I'm looking for a new platform for my group. If you haven't started with Meetup, save yourself headache and don't start now. To Meetup Support- don't bother to tell me to contact you. Done and done. No change. Please roll back the recent horrendous changes.
  • Sometimes the functions work....

    By Jedichess
*sigh* for us to pay you all $15/month for the usage of creating groups... the website version is terrible. I can’t update my group settings on it. The app functions sometimes work. For instance, today I tried to update my group settings from the app because I can’t figure out how to do it on the web version, but the screen comes up blank. It’s been doing this for the past 2 days. I have deleted the app and reinstalled to no avail. What are you all doing with the $$$ we pay every month!! Sheesh make this more user friendly.
  • Terrible to get to where you need to be

    By AJ80KB
Takes a number of clicks it take to get to an upcoming meetup and then doesn’t load. Better off going to their mobile web version, and adding it to the home screen.
  • Not compatible?

    By Shells7894
It won’t let me sign in using the app on my iPhone X. I tried resetting the password and that didn’t help. Can’t give an app a good rating if I can’t use it. Also, I can’t just use the web version cause it constantly redirects to the unusable app. So either the app gets deleted or I stop using meetup entirely.
  • Meetup App for iPhone is horrible

    By Judesaleo48
The so called updated new and improved Meetup App for mobile user enhancement, is a bust. It will not open most of the time and when it does, it is slow and difficult to navigate.
  • app from bad to worse

    By name2020
continue to make ‘improvements’ what a joke. after all these updates my ipro app is still blank. the meetup logo is blurry, within the app more problems. meetup, really who is team and leader behind these deficiencies? pokemon go has made improvements.
  • Horrible app slowly sucking more

    By SilverFoot Studios
Every update is worse. Don’t even know where to begin. The app is so unorganized, if you search for things on a day they aren’t in order of time (used to be). If you search for the week you get random days and times, but can’t search a specific day but today and tomorrow. So unorganized you can’t find anything, and their one job is so you can find organized events, THAT IS THE APP, or was/ should have been. If you click on a comment sent to you email, it sends you to the app. You see the message but not the event it’s attached to, and there is no way of directing you to the event. It backs you out to wherever the app was before or the main menu. So what did that comment apply to, who knows... your loss meetup as a company could care less.
