Best app from all online newspapers. Easy to use.
  • Really good

One of the first things I check every morning.
  • One little nit.

The search function for articles needs to be more intuitive. You need specifics of an article’s headline and correct spelling of writer(s), without providing a, “did you mean,” prompt, response or suggestion. Other than that...golden!!

  • Very Weak App. Declining Quality of Content

    By HardDrinkinLincoln92
Bug in the new update causes my phone to overheat. App loads slow and crashes often. No comment section. Other newspapers have far superior apps there’s no excuse for the journal to have such a subpar app. Regular reporting is still decent, but the editorial board has turned into uncritical apologists for the conservative zeitgeist. Bring on fresh voices that aren’t afraid to present viewpoints that differ from the conservative orthodoxy.

  • Much improved

The current version refreshes well and has many more areas of coverage. I can browse happily for an hour or so there being so much content. Print still pops up things you’d not notice on the phone but this is pretty good.
