  • Great app BUT

    By bakerpls
I primarily use Notability for taking notes in my undergrad. Notability allows a smooth writing experience and a clean organized interface. However, the only thing I have against this app is image cropping/moving. I literally hate how you are unable to move the image after you have placed it, and I also hate how you can not place the image anywhere YOU would like, since it has to fit in a certain location. Sorry Notability, but I have to give the point to GoodNotes because I heavily incorporate images to my notes, and I would really enjoy the simple manipulation of images into my notes instead of having to fight a constant battle.
  • Record all your purchases & records

    By starchild leader
I use this to record anything I may need later Buy a computer? Take pictures of box info, billeted lists, and receipts. Then title it so you will find it as the files grow. You won’t regret it. Any thing you need documented, especially receipts. Doing renovations or having landscaping? Document with pictures and notes then use your Apple Pencil to point to objects and write notes. Have legal work or important documents? Take a picture, place and size then make notes by tying, even in small areas, adjust size and color, or of course hand write on them with your Apple Pencil (or other stylus). Use a color marker in a different color Sign documents you import, or drag or take a photo. Some apps don’t allow writing on a photo. Resize everything Make flow charts if needed Make inventory photos of your important cards like licenses. Credit cards, etc doing both sides to get 800 numbers using edited photos. You can resize and place Record your belongings for insurance needs if you lose them in a fire or disaster, you have copies and proof that you can print from iCloud. It’s automatically on my phone copy too because of iCloud I find uses every week
  • Overall Great App

    By eanesthesia
I really enjoy this app and use it as a doctorate student. My biggest complaint would be the inability to place dividers into folders. I have amassed a large number of notes and wish to keep them all but it’s so distracting having so many on the side.
  • Really want to give it 5!

    By Jenn173
Sadly the app doesn’t recognize my handwriting when searching notes, GoodNotes is able to do this! BUT the thing that drives me crazy is the zoomed handwriting tool. When writing in the zoom mode I am always hitting the triangular button that makes the blue section larger and it’s very irritating because it interrupts my writing flow because I have maneuver around it. GoodNotes is also superior in this as well, but I love Notability and I want to see these features enhanced.
  • Great All Purpose Notebook

    By Michael James Urwin
This is a great application, I have it on my iPad, my Mac, and my iPhone (for quick reference) It offers a good selection of tools for pretty much anything you could need. There are a few features I wish it had though. 1. Being able to type anywhere like you can in OneNote. Having only the availability to type line by line from the left is very annoying. 2. I would love the ability to just have a shape tool that would let me draw a crappy square or circle and it fixes it.. also like one note. I don’t particularly like the shape drawer because it’s very difficult and not intuitive at all. Overall I love this app and wish it had those few features so I could stop using OneNote altogether.
  • Almost unusable

So far twice my PDF notes I need to take notes on are downloading or backing up when I really need to use them. And it takes forever. I might have to get a refund if this continues.
  • Can’t share via text??

    By RockinBass87
I love everything about this app and then I realized you can’t share a note via text???
  • Add a CarPlay app for the audio within the apps!

    By Stephen Mav
Could y’all add the ability to listen to your notes through an CarPlay enabled version of the apps. Not so that you could read the notes while in the car, but so that you could at least be able to listen to the audio recorded in lectures while using the CarPlay interface.
  • Used to be my favorite note taking app but....

    By Happyspringday
I miss the smooth pen-tool. It fixed my jittery handwriting and make my notes look super! Please please please bring it back. Why only a pencil or highlighter? Or create a new-pay app and give us our pen back. This is normally a 5⭐️app. Seriously, the first note taking app I ever bought (years and years ago) and the only one still on my iPad all these years later. I hate to look elsewhere.
  • Crash

    By McCarthy,Brady
Ever since the last update, it has crashed every time I used it
