Waking up made easy Sleep Cycle is an intelligent alarm clock that tracks your sleep patterns and wakes you up in light sleep - the natural way to wake up, feeling rested and energized. No need to place your device in bed - Sleep Cycles uses sound analysis sleep tracking. How it works • As you sleep, you go through different sleep phases, ranging from light to deep sleep and back again. The sleep phase you are in when your alarm goes off is critical for how rested you will feel when you wake up. • While you sleep, your movements vary depending on what sleep phase you are in. Sleep Cycle’s patented sound technology tracks your sleep patterns using sound or vibration analysis, monitoring your movements in bed throughout the different sleep phases. • Sleep Cycle finds the optimal time when you are in light sleep to wake you up in the morning, during a predefined 30 minute time window that ends at your set alarm time. Waking up in light sleep feels like waking up naturally without an alarm, leaving you feeling rested and energized. • All you need to do is turn Sleep Cycle on before going to bed, and place your device on your nightstand or close by on the floor. • Started good but now disappointed

    By Big MC2
I liked this app and actually paid the annual subscription after the trial period. I don’t know if it’s due to my phone or a recent update, but it doesn’t hear me moving and start the wake up process. I haven’t changed where I leave it by my bed. Also, it mutes my phone every morning after I wake up so I don’t hear any text messages or reminders. That didn’t happen in the past.

I was using the free app and all of a sudden I got a $30 charge.... be careful.
  • Bug

    By jScone
There seems to be a bug that prevents/turns off wireless charging when the alarm is enabled. I’m not quite sure what exactly triggers it, but I can observe the phone stops charging when I enable the alarm while on the charging pad.
  • Awesome app but lacking reliability

    By Woo loop
The only downside and why it’s not receiving 5 stars is because the app is interrupted when someone calls. It’s been multiple times that I’ve received a late night phone call only to wake up and find that sleep cycle has shut off. This is an issue that needs resolved and thankfully hasn’t caused me to be late yet. I really wish it would automatically resume the cycle. Otherwise, I love this app. I’ve used it for over a year and a half. I used to be a habitual 12pm sleeper. I was unable to wake up earlier no matter what I tried. I had 20 alarms set each night when I was in the worst of it.
  • Screwed Up Heart Rate App

    By JustLoping
I used this for a week, and it made the watch’s built-in heart rate monitor register unrealistic heart rates. I would get a notice at 3 a.m. that my heart rate was 122 - which it clearly was not. I would wake up and the “Move” ring on my watch would register 10,000 calories. So I quit using it and they charged me $29.99 anyway.
  • Doesn’t say how much time you spent asleep

    By jennna123-0
It says how much time you spent in bed but not actually how much time you spent asleep.
  • Great free app but...

    By ShyOfLife
I love this app. I don’t bother paying attention to the information it gathers on when I sleep since regardless of how well I do or don’t sleep it says my sleep quality is always between 50-75% even when one 50% night consists of a better nights sleep than the previous nights 75%. What this app gives that keeps me coming back is the gentle wake up call. It starts out low and slowly brings you from asleep to awake. I have NEVER overslept once after downloading this app. The only thing I don’t like about this app is that it won’t let me listen to music in the background. (I sleep better if I can fall asleep listening to certain music or sounds) I have another app that shuts down after a specific period of time so that the music isn’t playing all night, but it counter acts Sleep Cycle so my alarm doesn’t go off. Do to my living situation I really can’t have a radio/ CD player playing all night. Is there a way you guys could incorporate this or adjust the app so it will work in the background? Thank you.
  • App reads my husband cycle

    By demachadoo
When I bought the app, my husband was working oversea!! The app works perfectly for me, than when he came back home, the app started reading my husband snores!! It’s not work perfectly, even if I place beside my head
  • Bug with iPhone X, no way to contact

    By üRabbit
Unfortunately, you cannot contact them or submit a bug via the app, nor is there a link to any website. On iPhone X, when you turn off the alarm (not snooze), it silences your phone.
