Music stations for me are fantastic but the auto start on opening is annoying and as a premium user I’d expect better playlist tools like Spotify and Apple Music. Hard to justify it at same price for competition with more features and stronger bitrate. Also customer service is MIA.
  • Constant. Crashing. Still.

I’ve updated the app every time and whenever I start to listen to a station about four songs in my phone will reboot itself (which is really bad when I’m driving because the reboot it’s doing messes up my navigation while I’m driving, it’s super dangerous!!). It has never done that to me on any other apps so I know for sure it’s Pandora. Also it will give you some good songs to begin with and it will slowly go downhill with its choices until you can’t skip anymore. I liked it before but now I’m just switching over to my music and other apps. Update: 4/21 Still crashing. Adds every 1-2 songs, and still crashing near the beginning of listening to songs. I keep going back to it to give it a chance but their updates aren’t doing anything.
  • Pandora is awesome. I just wish there were more songs to pick from.

I love it. I listen to music all the time on it, but I want to be able to type in a song and have it play that song right away for me.
  • Bad programming

This app is the most problematic app I have on my iPhone 6. It never works right. Such as it fights with me when pausing, skipping songs, or even trying to unpause. There is not a place in the app that has not given me problems. What's most annoying is it pops up do you want to pay for pandora and when I click no it shifts the screen images to make it seem like you clicked yes and tries to charge you. Lol you will never get my money after playing tricks like that. But to be honest it might just be Apple that's the failure and pandora might just be taking the flack. I'm becoming more and more afraid of using this app. Recently it keeps trying to charge me for things without me even being in the app. I will have it playing and when I arrive at my destination I will open my phone and see a message in the app stating failure to purchase or charge your account. Things of that manner. Let's put it this way. The day I find an actual charge go through to this pandora company is the day I quit using there programs and pursue them for theft. Pandora is out of hand.
  • Awesome

I have always been a music junkie. Listening to music almost all day. People come to me to find music, and not the 10 songs the radio stations cycle through because they are afraid to take a risk on new music. Pandora allows me the freedom to listen to what I want when I want. And when I’m not sure pandora does a great job based off the music I like to find other songs I will love. Seriously the greatest music app. And with offline mode. Wow.
  • Disappointed with changes

Music with ads. No problem. Loved the classical music full pieces playlist. Ads still okay. Now? Unexpected time out in the middle of a composition, unless I upgrade to paid subscription. Feels like a threat - upgrade or else. My "or else" was to delete Pandora.
  • Love this app!

I really miss the option to "add variety" and enter a specific artist to an already created station... but other than that I really love this music app!

  • Enjoying the Upgrade in my search for a permanent streaming app.

I’ve had a Pandora account since 2009. I upgraded to a “One” in 2013 to get rid of ads. In my search for a permanent “home” for a go-to, “unlimited” style streaming service, I was just offered a free upgrade to Premium for six months. So far, I’m pretty happy with it. Pros: It’s the same price as the competition, and so far doesn’t seem to fall short on content (at least music wise). All the albums I’ve requested have been found, playlist suggestions are good, and new suggestions haven’t let me down. I drive a lot for my job so having plenty of music on the go is what gets me through my day. Playlists are very easy to curate, and all of my old stations that I’ve enjoyed since my desktop days are still there (and can be downloaded for when I’m driving through a bad cell service area). Maybe the best part is that it works across multiple platforms (iOS, Windows, Kindle Fire, Android), so when I’m out of the car and at my desk, I can log in on my laptop (which has the good WiFi in the office) and keep listening whileI write reports. You’re not locked into a hardware ecosystem. The free trial of 6 months was very generous, and the monthly cost is cheaper than a CD. If you have little ears in the car, there is a profanity setting that ensures you get the “clean” version. Finally, unlimited skips, thumbs-up, and down (yay)! Cons: Not perfect (but who is). Apple Music works flawlessly with Siri and CarPlay, so you’re finding your music on parking lots or stoplights (please don’t do this while driving). Pandora has no voice operation. I’ve found Iike this feature a lot when I want tunes and my hands aren’t free (great when cooking). Also, no option to purchase a song or album (at least that I can find). Look, I support artists I like, and streaming has become my number one discovery tool for music. Apple and Amazon make it easy to buy an album on their service, Pandora doesn’t seem to offer this. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but something to be aware of. Apparently there’s no watch app. I don’t have a smart watch yet. I think you’ve got to weigh out the nuances of each service and decide what you like best. Overall: It’s meeting my needs as a music playing service, and until 10/15/18, it’s the same price for me as my one membership ($3.99). So far, I have no reason to think I’ll give it up when it expires. iOS music is outstanding (if you stick with iPhone and Apple hardware), but it locks you into the iTunes universe which I’ve never loved. The ability to enjoy this on a hodgepodge of personal and work devices seamlessly will probably make it my streaming service of choice, unless a better deal comes along.
