Description

The RP Diet App was designed by nutritional experts and data scientists to do one thing and one thing only: GET YOU RESULTS! You log in and tell the app about yourself, including your current schedule. You also tell the app about your next goal. You can choose to lose fat, gain muscle, or maintain an athletic physique at peak performance. Based on the goal you choose, the app designs a custom diet that fits your schedule, but it doesn't choose your foods. For each meal, YOU get to choose the foods you eat, and the app automatically tells you how much of these foods to eat so that you're on track to meet the goal you set. The app will remind you when it's time to eat your meals and when it's time to step on the scale to track your progress. By inputting your weight just a few times a week, the app will automatically adjust your diet to keep you track. What does this mean? It means that you don't have to fret or worry about your diet anymore. You just have to choose your favorite healthy foods, eat when the app reminds you, and watch your body transform. When you have serious goals, don't leave them to chance. Leave them to science. RP Diet offers the following subscriptions options: • RP Diet Monthly Subscription: $14.99 (USD) per month with a 2 week free trial • RP Diet Yearly Subscription: $149.99 (USD) per year with a 2 week free trial Both options will give you full, unlimited access to all features, including meal planning, shopping list, and reminders for a 2 week trial, after which you will be charged the full subscription price of the tier to which you subscribed. These prices apply to United States residents. Prices may vary in other countries respecting your local currency exchange rate. Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account. At the end of the term, unless auto-renewable subscriptions are disabled, your subscription will automatically renew in your iTunes account. You will be charged for the regular price of your subscription within 24 hours prior to the end of the current term. You can turn off automatic renewal in your iTunes account settings at any time, but you must do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current term. Refunds will not be provided for the unused portion of any term. Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions: https://renaissanceperiodization.com/rp-diet-app/privacy-policy

Besides the ability to enter more than one choice for a specific macro, I also think there should be functionality that moves macro amounts ahead for the situation where you do not eat enough or eat too much. For example, if for some reason I cannot eat the quantity of a particular macro that is specified, there could be an option where I eat a fraction of what is specified and the rest goes forward so I can eat at a future meals. Otherwise I think this app is perfect.

So excited for this!!! I have been using the templates for a year now and love the idea of having them in an app. I am a person that loves to track my food in apps like my fitness pal. Would love to be able to enter multiple items for each source and more options for off template foods. Would even be fine with it if I had to enter custom nutritional information!

Wish I could have had this sooner! Love that I’m able to manage my daily schedule and activity level and everything adjusts for me! The only downside is only being able to select one type of food for each macro. (I’m not eating 3 bananas when I can just have 1 and a something else for a meal) also wish I could input my own foods (like coffee creamer).

Would like to be able to add more than one choice for given macro. Such as egg s & Canadian bacon for protein (with fat automatically added or even manually adjusted), not just egg whites or given items. Can’t wait to see the development.

This app has simplified meal prepping. I love how the app calculates how many grams of an item are needed to meet the macro requirement for each meal. It’s also easy to update the information under the lifestyle page to modify workout time, workout intensity, etc., which then automatically reconfigures the meals for the remainder of the day.

I was excited to learn about the release of this app as I have previously had great success with the rp templates. There are a few buggy items but I’m confident these will be worked out and the app will continue to improve. Well done!
  • Room for improvements but Good App

it is good, it gives you the option to check macros per meal, raw or cooked portions in grams, it personalize each meal based on your daily activity, such as what time you get up, what time you go to bed, how intense is your workout and so on, you can program ahead your workout sessions and meals, if you train twice a day the app also provides you the amount of food you need also based on your training sessions, per me that is good since I have the regular fat loss template and the 2x training day add in template, so the app also handles that. Also I am an not sure if it is good or not, but in terms of portions, the template handles a fixed amount of macros, for example on training day all your meals would need 30g of protein source, but the APP gives you a variable amount of protein per meal based on your workout time, which I think will be complicated for the people that meal prep in bulk for the week. Something that I think would be helpful and it is not possible so far in the APP is to pick up more than one macro source, for example if I want to substitute my protein source from animal to a protein shake you need to mix up casein and whey proteins, in the app you can only select one either casein or whey, is not big of a deal since the app also shows you the macros needed so you do the maths. Also something that you have to consider is at what point you are at your cut or massing, since I am at my 3rd week of my cut and I've been told by RP's support to finish on my current template and then continue maintenance on the APP so basically there will be 2 months in which I don't know if the APP will be in use.

Just started using this app since it was just released, but it looks really cool. Looks like the developers put a ton of effort into this and they've already been very responsive to my questions. Thoroughly impressed and can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeves.
  • Multiple Carbs and weekly Overview

I would love too see multiple carb options. For example if you have Greek yogurt but want to add raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries to it, it would be cool to be able to select more than one which is then split into 1/3s. I also love how each day is broken down, but it would be nice to see how many meals I have to cook at a quick glance for the entire week. The App did crash twice while I was in the middle of trying to update my options and I did lose all of my data. That was frustrating but I’m sure it will get worked out over time. I’ve been waiting years for this and I love it so far!
