  • Great game!!

You can spend money or not either way you can compete on your level. Build slow or fast up to you. Very realistic for an app.
  • What the hell!!!!!!

    By canadian rascal
This is not a good game to play the only thing realistic is the umps calls a ball in the other batters box is a strike. Way crappier then the older version and it’s supposed to be better. All the deals are awful I mean 100 dollars for gold apple can do better than not get me started on speed I have the max level for all my trainers and some “baseball players” go 2WPMS.they don’t have umps it is not realistic at all and you get out every time you are up to bat. Instead of quitting cable you should quit this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    By Uverse subscriber 101
Tech support takes forever to respond. It usually takes multiple messages to get the situation figured out. They flag your account for cheating for no reason. Do t waste your time.

  • Fun Until You Break Your Phone In Anger

TSB2018 isn’t close to being representative to how baseball works, but it’s a great toilet game for the first few weeks that you play it. But after you start understanding the different modes, join a club, and start accruing some star players, you begin to realize the shady operation that GRU is running. See, this isn’t a baseball game that rewards you for timing a pitch and swinging when the ball is perfectly in your wheelhouse. That may be your goal when you first start playing, but after you level up a few times the game takes a sharp turn. Your strategy now becomes based solely on gaming the system in order to collect the highest-leveled players. Smart play simply isn’t rewarded - in fact it’s more useful to simulate entire games in order to gain the most points and neutralize the massive pitching handicap that the CPU has in certain modes. That pitching handicap is the sole reason behind your grind for better players. In these select game modes that the game prioritizes during “events” (Walk Off Hero and Club Matchups), batters with ratings over 100 cant hit anything out of the infield - even against pitchers rated as low as 60. It’s as if your bats were replaced with pool noodles, and it’s rage-inducing. Truly. Even after paying real-life money to gain gold (much more flaccid and useless here than it is in real life) and remove ads, you’re still bombarded with in-game popups begging you to spend $99.99 for their special deals. The p2p games are fun. Home Run Battle is fun (until you reach higher levels against the CPU). Joining a club and battling other clubs to score the most points is also fun and rewarding to an extent. But don’t be fooled by this game’s seemingly-vast amount of content. It’s as predatory and Pay-To-Win as any other game. Worse, even, as GLU’s prey is the player who’s dumped hours and hours of time into it, and is trying desperately to uncover the fun he or she found in the game when they first downloaded it. 3 Stars for this game is so much more than it deserves, but the base game IS, unfortunately, a fun, arcadey, baseball-like experience. Just don’t pay real money: wait for the giveaways. And stop playing once you reach silver.
