  • Deleted runs keep reappearing

    By munich-flavor
I think is overall a good app, and hopefully will help me achieve my goals (only used it for three weeks so far). My main issue is that I also track my runs with my Apple Watch and the iPhone activity app. Whenever I manually add runs to this app I have to delete the Apple Watch runs since otherwise this app will give me double mile for the day. But my deleted runs keep reappearing no matter how many time I delete them...and sometimes two or three runs per day will pop up even though I only ran once. Very annoying, and I’m sure could be easily fixed!
  • Can’t figure out how to cancel ?!

    By actualskywalker
I did the free trial, but wanted to cancel because it wasn’t doing it for me. Can’t find out how to cancel the stupid thing and they keep charging me!
  • Misleading

Signed up, put all my info in. Thought I was about to get started then even before I get to see what the app is all about you ask for my credit card info to continue! I see there is a 2 week free trial but bad form on trying to get my credit card info before I can even try it out. Thanks but no thanks.
  • Good idea, needs refinement

The good: -Dynamic training plans with flexibility to assign log run days. Best execution I have seen of this. -Ability to import runs from most major ecosystems outside of Nike. -Decent community support and display of personal Race PRs. The bad: -The tracking system is clearly very bugged. Runs that are deleted reappear, runs that are assigned a training plan event will revert to the Maintenance status about 75% of the time. It’s unusable in the current iteration. -Why include a half baked running tracker when most serious runners will be importing data from another source? Even if you do use it, there is no watch support. -The loss of the weather and attire advisor part of the old app, it’s not mission critical but it is the removal of a feature that was nice to have. If this app has proper development support, it has a real future. If not, it can’t be recommended.
  • This is helping me go from couch to 10mi and it’s working!

    Thank you so much!
  • Totally useless

Logged on and tried to change from what I initially logged in as interested in, ie. a 5k, to a 10k and you can’t do it. Seems like the editors of RW just said, “Put an app online and we’ll figure it out later!” Don’t waste any of your time.
  • Inaccessible to blind users

I’m blind and can’t use the app with VoiceOver.
  • Inaccessible with VoiceOver Screenreader

I was excited to give this app a try, especially because it's cold in Minnesota, and I'm stuck on my treadmill until the weather warms up. While my treadmill is accessible for a blind person, however, the app is not. Unfortunately, after getting through an accessible setup screen and choosing a payment plan, I came to multiple screens with unlabeled buttons and unclear information. Even the tabs at the bottom of the screen are unlabeled. I'd love to use the app, but for now, it's not possible.
  • Sadly not accessible

    By Rstrunk18
As a blind runner I was excited about an app that could potentially walk me through a training plan. Since Apple builds in accessibility features into it’s phones and has extensive documentation on making apps accessible to everyone I had hoped Runners World would have taken this into consideration. Setup was doable but when i got into the app buttons were not labeled, the tabs at the bottom of the screen, all unlabeled. This is accessibility 101. I’d love it if Runners World would consider that runners with disabilities would like to use their app as well. I’d love to help fix this. It would be simple changes that would open running up to many more people. Let’s fix this this and get running!
  • Perfect Training Program

I am a stay at home mom of two little kids. Having this training program is helping me stay focused and on track! It’s very user friendly and I love that it sends me notifications. I’m looking forward to continuing to train with this app!
