Works well with some of my autistic clients also. They love taking pictures with the goggles, etc on their face and love the reinforcers that pop up! Great job!” ***** “It's such a simple concept, yet my child absolutely loves it. He loves imitating the other children which surprises me with his developmental delay. Very cool app. It's worth the purchase.”

There's no way to test out the app without subscribing. Well you get a "free trial". After a few days I realized it's not the app for us and spent the remainder of our trial attempting to unsubscribe from being charged for the product. There's no option to unsubscribe from a free trial, you have to be charged first. Developer blames Apple, apple blames developer, meanwhile I'm trying to prevent my account from being charged $10. Use at your own risk. Still unresolved.

This is a good supplement to my daughter's weekly speech therapy. It helps her practice her sounds. Her development is coming along quite nicely.

Really enjoy this app and it is getting my 5 yr old to sit down with me. We had him in speech therapy for delayed speech and at home I just can't get him to sit down with me to practice talking. But this can get him to sit with me for 30 mins at a time. The only con his that sometimes he is more interested in what is going on with the silly things on the screen. I saw someone complain about the 9.99 a month but honestly if this gives results it's way more affordable than 300 a week for 1 hr of therapy. This I can practice multiple times a day every day where therapy is 2- 30 min sessions which is simply unaffordable to the average parent.

So I've done the evaluation test and it first asks when my son was born (Sept 1, 2015) so he just recently turned 2 but your app says he is 2 and 11 months
  • My kids loves it!

I love this app. It has so many games that my son loves. He couldn't even tell he was learning. The only issue it that it's a tad bit expensive for us so we will have to discontinue our use. Great app if you can afford it otherwise.
  • Why on earth are you charging $9.99 per month for an app like this?!

I was disappointed to see that you have switched to a subscription model. Most schools and state run facilities cannot purchase IAPs or subscriptions due to strict purchasing rules but would be able to pay to purchase an app up front. So if you only offer a subscription based option you will be severely limiting the user base for the new app. Also, how on earth did you come up with the pricing for your new app? $9.99 per month = $119.88 per year. I find it unbelievable that you found any SLPs or parents who said they would be willing to pay that much. If they used your app for two years it would cost as much as many robust AAC apps. In a comment in a post in a SLP Facebook group you indicated that you have plans to release a full paid version of this new app. I hope that you rethink your pricing strategy and offer an app that is affordable and that I can recommend to parents and fellow SLPs. In the meantime, please remove OMazing Kids from the wording in your app description. I would never recommend this new app with the current pricing. Update: This app developer is luring folks in with the promise of a free short trial and then charging a $9.99 per month subscription fee. They are also misusing the names of several SLP blogs including my own to promote that new app. On their website they include quotes from reviews for the original app and number of users from that app and are trying to pass them off as being related to this new app. It took a social media blitz to get them to remove the OMazing Kids name from the description for Speech Blubs on the App Store but I just saw they are still using my name on their website and linking to a blog post about the first app. I have updated that blog post with a warning to hopefully force them to quit using the OMazing Kids name on their website, any social media or any app stores (Apple, Google Play, Amazon or any others that might appear in the future). They have seriously messed with the wrong speechie…. I am very active and vocal on social media, am in almost every SLP Facebook group that they might try to lure SLPs in and am definitely not afraid to call them out. Update #2: The app developer finally removed OMazing Kids name from their website but still are misusing names of other SLP blogs in the app description. I have been in contact with all of these SLPs and they have repeatedly requested that this app developer remove them. Just saw this new update which would have been a good opportunity for the app developer to honor their requests. But they did not. Update #3: Was intrigued by the offer of free access for SLPs so I was willing to download the app again and give it another chance. The loading time for items was way too slow. Deleted the app again. Still hoping the app developer will consider lowering the subscription fee they are charging parents. The IAP is still too expensive. My daughter that is autistic and has speech problems and my soon that has speech delays love this app. It has helped them be able to be understood. I can't wait for school to start so their speech teacher can see the progress they have made over the summer.

We just started using this app, but so far we love it! He loves to see the "reward" clips at the end of each lesson, especially. That alone keeps him working!
