I’ve played this game every single day for over two years now and while this game has always been more favorable to those willing to cough up some coin, it was still enjoyable for all. However this recent event has truly destroyed my love for the game. I thought the great equalizer was always the event store which allowed players to be able to power up their heroes and teams in a fair way but this recent event has totally gutted that with low in game event currency distribution and as a result incentivizes players to just endlessly spend money to succeed. It’s frankly gross and extremely insulting and this is coming from someone who hasn’t missed a single day of play for nearly 800 days straight now.

Played this game for awhile now on my old phone and new phone.. you’d think when you spend money on an app you’d get one of the better cards that are out there but no.. I’d say just wait over time you’ll get better cards than spending you’re actual money. Trust me, unless you’re dropping $20, $40, or $100! But That’s on you

This game used to be fun, dumb, but fun. You match a few gems and kill a bad guy. The developers charge a ridiculous amount of money for the cards and it’s a gamble wether you get them or not. I currently have 30,000 gems which in real life translates to a very real $300. That’s not enough for a good deck however and I need at least 50k to preferably 100k gems to really get a deck worth buying, that’s $500-$1000. So cool, let’s say I save that much and go all in, next week there’s a new deck and my old one can no longer compete. Added to the constant and obvious cash requests is that events in this game are constantly changing, reward system payouts have been made impossible to reach. I know a lot of this doesn’t make sense to anyone not playing but if you decide to try it I highly recommend checking out the legendary forum so you can really see what you’re getting yourself into. At the end of the day this is a gambling app that takes real money and trades them for pixels. Just keeping it real. Stay legendary everybody.

I started playing almost 2 months ago. The game seemed user/newbie friendly at first, but after a few events it became clear that this game is designed to just get people to spend. The current Arena event has rewards that are literally impossible to achieve. The GLOBAL LEADER of the event will not be able to collect a number of rewards because the costs are so high. I was excited for this event when I saw the rewards (Canis, Stellar Hound seems really cool). I was even thinking of ending my F2P status and getting VIP for this event. However, it is impossible to get the coins, trophies, and tokens to collect rewards so I am glad I did not WASTE MY MONEY. In fact, this event has assured me that I should just remain casual/F2P and spend my money elsewhere.

Overall I think this game is awesome, but yesterday I had something happen to me that was unfair and unjust! I spent money on gems, gems that I used to buy packs of new cards. In one of them packs, I got an Ascended Warden card. It was the most powerful card I currently owned and I was excited to put it to use. Later on yesterday, I logged in and immediately noticed my cards were wrong. After examining them, I realized my Ascended warden was gone. No trace of it, no recollection of selling it. So I sent feedback to the developers! Then today I get a notice in my mail. Apparently the system gave me the card in error and no one was supposed to get them cards, so they gave me another 6 star card. What upsets me is the card I got now, is a lot weaker then the card I had. Why would you take one card, even if it was an error, and replace it with a weaker card??? I would of been happy with a nuke card, or something to match the luck it took to get an Asended warden. I’m upset about this and the fact that I already spend like 50$ on this game, has me more upset. Because I feel like I’m renting cards that can be taken by the devs and replaced with whatever random card thay choose! I want to be compensated for my Asended Warden card. I was told it made the game unbalanced, that’s how strong it is, yet you replace it with a card that’s not even as strong as my current strongest card? My Asended Warden was on top of my deck and now it’s replaced with a weak card.

If you want to spend $30 a month for VIP which gives twice the keys that win you 25 more keys that win you coins trophies gold gems and rewards and $19 a week to buy gems relics potions keys and hero’s regularly than your game wont be anything but mediocre. Played for 2 years scored in top 20-30 for crusades while people who bought in weekly tripled my battles scores, hero’s, gems and relics within 2 weeks of playing. A buyers 2 months skunked my hardcore timed in to as many keys as possible battled every minute I had until I couldn’t n used every asset I had n didn’t let 1 key get unused in 3 daily events or crusades for 2 years pathetic waste of time n effort

Game is brilliant and lackluster. It’s a very EXPENSIVE roller coaster. And on this roller coaster, don’t strap in bc you may just want to fall off this ride. King Match-ical

Recent updates and changes have been shoddily and far too rapidly implemented, with a ridiculous pace of power creep and very high monetary cost to remain competitive. Furthermore, plagued by terrible quality control, resulting in “bugs” (clearly just oversights or errors rather than true bugs) in each new rollout that are nearly game-breaking. Would not recommend at this time.
