  • It's decent for beginners.

    By B*tchT*ts
It only really teaches you simple scales and how to correlate the numbers on sheet music to the positions of your fingers. It takes probably 15-20 minutes to do so? After that they make you pay for premium to do anything else. I'm honestly kind of salty, but at least now I can read sheet music.
  • Best piano App

    By Tamfitz
I just love this piano app. Definitely worth the money. It's taken me farther than any other self-taught lessons have, and I'm enjoying it too! I love this app so much that after playing on my phone for a couple months, I bought a used iPad because the iOS version has a lot more content than the android version.
  • Ten Minutes!

    By ScytheMeter
As the title says, it only took me ten minutes to pass the beginner stage of Simply Piano. I still have so much more to learn but I totally recommend this app to anyone who has and wants to play piano!

  • Meh

    By LegitMyth
Yeah you get to learn the basics of piano but this knowledge should be shared free, and if your app is as good as you say, people will donate to you no need for monthly subscription, if anything make getting more sheet music and fun music apart of the monthly subscription

  • Fraud ALERT!!! I Never authorized or downloaded this App!

I was charged $199 and don't even own a piano! I've disputed this with Apple and going to my bank in the morning! PURE FRAUD!
  • I really want to like this app ...

    By Suecris
It was really great in the beginning — so wonderful in fact that I paid the year subscription price. I even told others about the app. Now I’m just frustrated. When I started playing with my left hand, it won’t recognize some of the notes (the CG - G combination for example) and also if I play the same key 2 or 3 times in succession, it won’t recognize the second instance. I’ve tried to hitting the key extra hard the second time, but the app acts like I’ve played more than one note. So frustrating! I am constantly being placed into practice mode until I just give up.
  • Amazing App

This is also a great app for guitar. It only registers the notes an octave higher though. It would be nice to be able to transpose the recognized notes.

This app is truly terrible I got it because it looked really cool and it’s a really good idea for an app. But when I opened I found out all the people that are trying to learn it for free and not for like 600 dollars a month could play wait for it, oh yes 3 notes. Thank you very much but I think I already know how to play middle c!!! And even though that’s a HUGE disclaimer, there was still even something worse than that, I tried to play the c and when I played it on my GRAND PIANO the thing didn’t even register so literally I tried everything to get it to work so I could give this app a chance. But even when I put my phone right up to the chord and took the phone case of, turned my volume down ect. It still wouldn’t register on the app I would really like it if this bug was fixed because u can’t do anything on this app and I am going to delete it right about now. But you know thanks for getting my hopes up about a piano app that actually works. And anyways if you’re going to charge for everything but the free trial why don’t you just charge for the app that would be a whole lot less depressing for the poor ppl like me in the world.
