  • Still needs some work

    By SAZ/PSL
App works OK one day. Next day it says I haven’t subscribed, then next day everything is OK again. Also says I haven’t downloaded something when I have. Or, it will play a downloaded lecture but stop part way.
  • Love the courses, the app needs some work.

    By El-tico
I really love all the courses here, but I just wish there was a way to open the app and start playing right where you left off instead of having to go to your history and looking for it. Other than that, it’s great!
  • Worlds Greatest Opportunity ⭐️

Thanks Great Books Plus! I’ve had such opportunities with this app to enjoy cooking, story telling (Love Professor Hannah), math on all levels through calculus, and much more! The videos play without any problems. Everything about this app has been easy and enjoyable.
  • Really buggy.

Too numerous to list, this app would have break functionality if they fix the bugs. I have a Samsung galaxy S8
  • great content, buggy app

I bought this subscription to listen to courses in the car while commuting. Unfortunately, it requires me to re-sign in periodically and does not reliably keep track of my place in a lecture. Since I can’t really fiddle with my phone while driving, I am cancelling and going back to listening to great courses in the audible app.

I am very happy and excited about The Great Courses and especially The Great Courses Plus; wish I had discovered The Great Courses Plus months/years ago.

GCP! For those that enjoy to be intellectually stimulated by the best lecturers. Shout out to Daniel Robinson in psychology and philosophy. He's the best. Also Sean Carroll in physics--he's also the best! ;)
  • User experience is terrible

    By Cray17
After buying TGC from audible for so long I was excited to subscribe to THC+ and binge on as much content as possible. Unfortunately this app is a terrible user experience for all the reasons all of the other reviewers have already mentioned. It's obviously not a native app on iOS. Fuzzy and improper resolution on my iPhone 6, video cuts out when you multitask or lock phone, no audio download. Coming back to the app doesn't bring you back to where you where. Multiple course downloads starts playing a different course after completing a lecture instead of streaming the next lecture in a series (frustrating). The list goes on... so bad in fact that I feel like asking for a partial refund since I paid for multiple months in advance. Didn't think a bad app would have caused me to wish I hadn't subscribed at all but here we are...
