I imported 10 recipes from here and I never seen them
  • Great idea, but not the best app

It's a great idea and is pretty easy to add recipes. However, the recipes aren't available to create meal plans. They should be, but for some reason the synchronization doesn't work. It's also hard to back out of what you're doing if there's an error (which there are a lot). Instead you have to close the entire app and start over hoping it'll work the next time. Overall, it would be the best app if it worked correctly, but as of now it's not worth all of the time and effort adding recipes.
  • So letdown :(

I LOVED this app on my Samsung and my Kindle fire. I raved about it to everyone I knew. I always had the free version and could have as many recipes as I wanted. It was beautiful. But, when I switched from Samsung to iPhone, I had to set up an account to transfer all my recipes onto my new phone. I soon discovered that the layout of the app on iPhone is terrible, and because I don't want to pay for a premium account (a yearly subscription), I am not allowed to add anymore recipes. If the layout weren't so bad I would consider paying the subscription fee, but I just can't justify as it is. On my Kindle I am able to view the whole recipe on one screen (picture, ingredients, directions, etc). Hence, no needless touching of my screen while my fingers are gross from cooking. But on iPhone, I have to continuously switch between the ingredients screen and the directions screen (not even able to swipe between them). While I have discovered that if I turn my screen rotation on, the app will allow me to have a single screen view, the width allotted to the ingredients list on the left is SO narrow that the ingredients list ends up being miles long and I still have to constantly scroll up and down to see the ingredients and then read the directions about them. All that said, I hate having to switch to a new app, but unless you can improve your iPhone app platform ASAP, I'm forced to find something new. I feel like I've missed out on so many good recipes the past month because I'm not allowed to add anything new. Please, for the love of cooking, improve this app! *edit: While looking into other apps just now I noticed that Paprika has a one-time fee of $4.99... Why are you wanting to charge people $24/year?! I wish I had never created an online account and destroyed my unlimited free access! So frustrating!
  • Great idea, bad execution

I like the aim of the app but it's functionality could have been better. Uploading recipes from my iPhone's safari browser never worked; copy, pasting, and importing urls only worked once on the 7 recipes that I tried; customer support is almost nonexistent; and there's no way to manage your account. I'd delete my account but that's not possible.

I beta tested this app and it worked flawlessly. I also own the pro version on another OS, so I was excited to have the cross platform sync option. Now it refuses to sync, won't start half the time, I lose recipes I enter, photos don't sync correctly, and the app is unstable. What did you do to mess it up? Again it worked great during beta. Total disaster.
